You can join the Absolute Animal Care family in just a few easy steps.

Please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions page if you have questions on our pricing and grooming services.

To begin, please take a moment to review the following questions about your pet’s situation.

1.) Will you be able to transport your pet to our salon?

Absolute Animal Care
214 Dgk Ln,
Factoryville, PA 18419

Please click here to see the salon location on Google Maps.

The salon is in Suite 101, in the lower parking lot of the Bunker Hill Veterinary Clinic and next door to the dentist’s office. The entrance is shared with Bunker Hill Vet’s surgery suite.

Those familiar with Factoryville and Route 6&11, might know of the BlueBird Diner at the bottom of the driveway which is located about 1/4th of a mile from Keystone College. Just past the salon, a little further down Rt 107, you’ll find Gin’s restaurant.

2.) Does your pet weigh less than 40 pounds?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate pets that weigh more than 40 lbs at this time.

3.) Are you able to adhere to a 4 or 6 week consistent grooming schedule with your pet?

A consistent grooming schedule is best for the well being and safety of your pet as well as our groomers.

You will see the best results for your pet with a consistent grooming schedule.

Our schedule is made up of recurring grooming appointments and so we must ask that you commit to a consistent grooming schedule.

4.) Has your pet been examined by a vet in the last 12 months?

If your pet has an unknown health issue, it isn’t safe to schedule a grooming session.

Your pet must have been seen in the last 12 months for grooming to begin.

For geriatric pets, we recommend that they have been seen in the last 6 months before they start grooming.

5.) Is your pet currently free of fleas?

We do not offer flea baths at our shop because flea baths are ineffective.

We have blog articles on what to do if your dog has fleas and what to do if your cat has fleas.

Your pet must be flea free before grooming can begin.

6.) Does your pet have any untreated medical conditions or parasites?

If your pet has an untreated medical condition, then you must consult with a vet and obtain treatment before grooming can begin.
